Brief 2 Notes

Is visual media desensitizing people in regards to gay people and gay relationships?

My View:
Absolutelyusing this method slowly feeds the masses, of which minimal do not have access to a TV or DVD player. After the initial shock has subsided and with slow constant repetition, young people accept in their subconscious for this reoccurring theme or subtext to be deemed normal and be more likely to accept it in the future without protest.
Much to the contrary of introducing new view points in later life, which can be harder to accept as previous conflicting ideas and issues can deny acceptance.

Ingenious, and highly effective as provided by the screeds of lists below, and reflected by today's movements in Gay marriage as opposed to not so long ago, and what has changed? I think its down to media selling point swaying the point of view.

Therefore there will be two sides and other factors such as
-Does it work? Has it swayed the viewpoint?
-Who are the visuals aimed at? What has this method done to its audience?
-When is it too much? Do we have a choice?
-What are the highlighted contrasts in demographic audiences?
-What are the negative implications of this method? What are the positives?
-Is it now more socially acceptable? Is there any possible correlation with visual media?

Visual media including (but not exclusive to)
-Movies
-Tv Series
-Anime & Animated Films
-Visual Novels (Manga)
-Music videos
-Posters/Billboards

  1. Great article! I noticed you have numerous articles that would be of interest to teens and families. We have a website, www.FamilyFirstAid.org, which I believe would be a great resource for your website visitors. Please check it out and consider adding us as resource to your blog list.
    Thanks,
